Maxwell Chikumbutso Self-Taught Inventor from Zimbabwe – The World Ignoring him

Maxwell Chikumbutso whose surname suggests his parents might have migrated from Malawi is a self-taught inventor and engineer from Zimbabwe who dropped out of school age 14. At the age of 17, while in Kuwadzana, Maxwell had started experimenting with various technologies.

Sangulani Maxwell Chikumbutso w ho was born on November 10, 1980 is the son of Andrew and Susan Chikumbutso. He grew up with his three siblings under the care of their mother after the father, who was an electrician abandoned the family. Maxwell attended Haig Primary School in Kuwadzana and later moved to Kuwadzana 5 Primary School. He went to Dzivarasekwa 2 High School where he dropped out after form two. His education was sponsored by the Government through the Department of Social Welfare.

The genius is known for his green energy technology that converts radio frequencies into renewable energy defying the law of physics in every sense of the law. He also invented a helicopter, car, and drone, all without formal degrees or diplomas.  Strangely the world has turned a blind eye to his innovations for obvious reasons, he is black and from Africa. The question that has been lingering in their mind is, Can anything good come from Africa let alone from Zimbabwe?

Already there have been a couple of attempts on his life simply for being innovative and challenging the status quo of the Western world. Chikumbutso has developed state of the art technology that can convert radio frequencies into clean, renewable energy, which he claims is a revolutionary breakthrough.

He has also created a helicopter which ne named Hex Copter, a drone (GPM) and  an electric car, all using his own resources and expertise. Maxwell is a devout Christian, and he testifies that in September 1997, while praying on a mountain he received the scripture in Isaiah 46 from where the name Saith Technologies originates. “Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One…”

In 1999 it was reported on NTV News that Maxwell had built a Radio broadcast transmitter . The project fell away due to lack of funding. In November 2018 with the headline USA snatches top Zimbabwean inventor Maxwell Chikumbutso. In the article Chikumbutso, the founder of Saith Technologies is quoted saying, “Africa did not see what the US Government saw in my ground breaking inventions.”

However, despite this enormous achievement, the world is ignoring him for obvious reasons, he is black, uneducated, and comes from a third word country, Zimbabwe in Africa where nothing good is expected to come from. Developed countries who have been dominating in terms of innovations and technology look down upon African and Chikumbutso might not be given any recognition for his inventions. His life has been threatened for almost three times. He was at one point hospitalized after being poisoned by those whose interests are being threatened by his innovations especially those from oil producing nations.
